I'm not sure how it sounds, but if your in the market for one, I'm selling mine for $40 shipped. I got it on eBay and never used it.

i''ve had mine on for maybe a couple of years and have gotten use to the sound. normal drivin', it's like it's not there -quiet. but at wot it's very loud, hard to explain the sound, but here goes--loud swhooosh BBBRRRRRRR almost like like exhaust under hood. recently put a k&n filter on it and it's a little less noisey. go figure. overall, i like the sound. i give it more points for looks than anything else.

it sounds like any other cold air intake. which one are you looking at? the injen copy or place racing copy? the PR is a far better design.

then removed it b/c the cheap *** plastic adapter broke and robbed my low end and response so went back to the good ol airbox

I've had mine for a year or so and it does the job. I would put a K&N on if you go with the Bomz. I did notice that my response time got worse though so does expect much but sound.

Keep in mind that you have to cut a hole around your fender to install it.
