window fell down, is it off track?

one of my friends exited my car last night and when he shut the door i think it knocked the window off track. he didnt slam or shut it overly hard, but whats done is done and now my back right window wont stay up. i can slide it up and down with my hands and not much force, and the power supply is still going to the window with the switches- it just sounds like its not grabbing the window.

so am i correct to assume that it's off track? if so, how would i go about fixing this.

It sounds like your regulator might be bad. They are fairly easy to replace. You can find them on eBay. I found that both times I thought the window was off track it was actually a bad regulator. I've replaced 2 now.

Yep, check the regulator. I myself have had to replace the driver side twice and now the passenger side needs to be fixed to.
