Just aquired the bar. I've seen many install guides recommend a certain amount of torque. However, I don't have the tools. Just intended to do it manually. Is it accptable to do it manually with a little muscle power, or not?

yeah, it's okay.. spec is 32 ft-lb on our cars..

which on a regular 10-12" ratchet is basically "tight"..
