Why do you keep making threads with the vaguest title possible? If you want people knowledgeable about the subject to read and respond, stop posting threads with stupid vague titles and put a real title on it. Something like "Is anyone using the VQ35 cams in a VQ30" rather than this asinine "Is anyone...?" "Is anyone... tired of threads with vague titles?" I am.

Thank you, now if everybody who is not using this cam, please post so we can use a process of elimination to figure out who is using the cam.

He asked ... And I specifically told him one person who was using this set-up in his other thread, but he seems to want to keep annoying some of us with misleading/vague thread titles that all point in the same direction.

There's a lengthy thread on here that goes into pretty good detail (greater than the original poster of this thread would care to know, or even understand)

But things turned a bit sour between some of the members involved in the discussion, and the details were never totally revealed, but the actual job was done/finished, and is possible.

So, if one was willing to actually do the job, you would think they would have some sense to donate in order to read all that is required, and gain a better understanding for the job, it's purpose, and it's end result would be.

Donating can uncover most, if not all of these rocks, but since the originator has not, it would lead most to believe that they are not serious enough to do the job.

This post and the other similar posts are mere examples of members who think something sounds cool, and is a good price, but fail to understand small details of the job and it's entirety when the answers are under their noses ....

For those who say this job is not worth the price, when looking at the job itself, and the price of OEM VQ35 camshafts, one could argue that opinion, as most on here are led to believe that most cams will cost 1200, such as the JWT S1 units.

But these (OEM 3.5L) are in fact much cheaper than those, and may give similar results.

No, there have not been back to back testing only the cams alone, so anything from here would be a first, unless someone has done it, but not posted.

Lets break it down, shall we?

"i be trying to put vq35 cams to my car"--> I am interested in installing vq35 camshafts on my car.
"that way my questions may look stupid."--> Perhaps this is the reason my questions may have a hint of stupidity about them.
"i just dont want to spend $$$,"--> Im just worried about spending my hard earned brown paper bag under the matress money,
"part mine engine and find out that there is nothink what i can do to it"---->Rip apart my engine to only discover that Im not a mechanic and cry myself to sleep after realizing I just destroyed my moms car.

LOL, sorry could help it.

But seriouly, save up your money and spend some cash on those textbooks instead.

Price of cams $640
Price of install $1200-$1500 (best guess)
Total $1840-$2140

Price of an installed low mileage VQ35 $2000-$3000

Save your money and do it the proper way.

you boys have to understand that english is not the native language for a lot of people on here so instead of trying to be smart and correct their spelling, why don't you either help the guy out or stay out of the thread. Remarks like this annoy me. Let's not get into the "US" Public School level compared to the rest of the world. We wouldn't want to sound "STUPID".
Just look at most of the replies on this board that come from US born & educated citizens....their english teachers would die if they read half of the replies.

Sorry for going OT....i don't know much about cams so i can't give advice.

If you can't give advice you should take your own advice and "stay out of this thread"

It's obvious what he wants, you guys are just being a.s.sholes about the spelling/grammar.

With the links I provided, I'm pretty sure that should keep him entertained for a while.
