Loud Exhaust with a Weird Sound??? from rear axel??

I've noticed recently that my exhaust sounds very loud like a Civic Ricer??? I start my car from my apartment and hear it a block away... It seems to have a gurggle or farty sound after the RPM's go down... And the sound is coming from the rear axel area... not the muffler but some where before the muffler and after the b-pipe??? Is it the cold weather or an exhaust leak??? The exhaust is a year old: Custom Maxima Y-Pipe/High Flow Cat, Greddy SP2 Catback/Muffler. How do I know its a leak? What do I listen or look for? If it is a leak am I looking at a big job (Lots of $$$)? What do you guys think???
Thanks for your time...

If it's making that much of a difference in sound, the leak shouldn't be that hard to find.

I know mine has grown more annoying, but I think it's age...(mine) Because i regret getting the cat-back because it's not needed for my needs or wants.

Get under it, and inspect it, try it with the car on, but don;t kill yourself, or burn yourself.

I've had plenty of exhaut leaks, and all of them were never oever 15$ from an exhaust shop, all they do is weld the **** over the leak, keep in mind, this is on a custom cat-back and not a name brand such as yours, so I'm not sure how a weld will fix the problem.

You should know a leak when you see or hear it.

Just start the car and feel for any exhaust leaks with your hand (without touching the pipes of course) or just use a piece of paper to see where there is airflow (that shouldn't be there) from the pipes/welds/flanges.

Once you've located the exact leak, you should be able to see what the damage is.
