Questions regarding Gauge CLUSTER

Hello, I have 99 GLE max with the black gauge, i was wondering if I would be able to put a 98 SE gauge in my car, and what is the difference between the both except for one being black and white? Another question, what color does the SE gauges look like in the dark? THANKS ALOT my fellow org members.

Yea I can find one, how much should I be paying for one of these clusters anyway? I still need to know what color it lights up without and mods done to it.

Thats great, well I went on your cardomain page, the gauges you have on, are those the stock SE gauges? If so that will be great, anyways I saw this gauge on paradox system which looks very nice. Do you think its worth buying for 45 bucks?

Depends what color bulbs you have behind the gauges. I have a '95 GLE, and I swapped mine with white SE gauges from a buddys totalled '96 maxima... can't beat free. The only difference between them was that my black gauge faces were screwed down, while the white gauge faces used some sort of sticky adhesive. Anyway, I have blue led's behind my gauges and it looks goooood at night. Sorry, no pics though.

Basically at night, white part of the gauge appears black and the black #'s etc light up what ever color you have in the back ground, a lot change the color to their preference with different bulbs. I chose blue.

MAXRB8,
Are those LED's behind those gauges or just colored bulbs?
