Headlight question

Hey all. I found that tutorial under the "How to" thread about making your own angel eyes. I think i want to try it. So my question is, where do I pick up a light housing that has a clear lens? The guy in the tutorial had HIDs but I want my car to be 100% legal. I currently just have the stock '96 lights.

Any info would be great.

Thx

IMO angel eyes belong only on BMW.

Where do you pick up a light housing w/ a clear lense? huh? Are yours not clear? You want a 97 (clearer) headlight? Look on ebay.

at least in KS, HIDs are illegal if they are not stock. Dumb i know, but that is the truth.

My lens' are not tinted, so in that respect they are clear. But they are not just like a sheet of glass. THey have all those light refraction little marks inside to make the whole lens lightup. I just want clear lenses so that you can clearly see the angle eyes.

That sucks a$$, but you need to buy the 97-99 headlight if you want the "clear" headlights. Ebay has them for about $70 each shipped.

do they just bolt right into the place of my '96 headlights? No modifying anything?

Right, it's just a straightforward replacement.
