99 Heater Blower Motor Replacement

The noise has finally gotten to be too much, am going to have my blower motor replaced. Where is the best type of place to get this done and where is the best priced place for the parts (I think I saw $124 on up a few months ago on a web search). Anyone who has done this/had it done, I would appreciate your input.

Thanks.

I just did mine a few months ago, it is pretty easy to do it yourself. I have an automatic heater/cooling system, so if yours i the manual, it might be different. ANyways, I got the part for ~95 from Advance, I think Autozone might have been a little cheaper. Just remove the glove box, and you will see the motor on the right (if you were sitting as a passenger you can kick it with your right foot under the dash). Then you remove the right kick panel with one screw then you should be able to wiggle the old motor out. If you cant get it out at this point, remove the screw along the bottom right brace of the glove box, you will need a stubby phillips head.

Thanks for the reply. I have a 99 GXE,Manual AC/Heater controls. Did you replace the "wheel" also? I thought the blower was behind the lower console, I'll have to check the manual again.
