Thanks man. I am looking for a little change. I have always wanted to have my roof repainted because it has some thin spots in it, and I also have some paint chiping above the driver door handle where the jack fell and hit my car, I would like to get that fixed as well. SO with these couple areas and the desire to have something different this is what I am leaning towards. I would also like to cut the clolors with a pin strip size line. Possibly red...any one want to add a little line between the colors?

i say go for it. i think it would look great in real life. id paint the back side of the c.f. trunk blue too and leave the rest c.f., just a thought. A c.f. gray pin stripe( my idea for my car) would look good imo.

Ya, and its like a primer gray color with black. Its nice. I think the blue would look good with the black, but personally I'd keep it as is.

thats actually not half bad!

Shouldnt cost as much if the just mask off the bottom half, and spray the top. Then maybe clear the whole car +wet sand.

josh, yeah I know about that guy and I think his car looks nice, but its not exactly what I am going for. I am looking for something that will go with the body lines as well. His roof and piliars are painted, but I want to come down to where a pin stripe would be.

THanks to every one who has helped so far, I am really liking how it looks. Feel free to chop anything you think may look good as well.

Carson, that's a nice neo look and flows well with your current color. I say it's a good go.

I love this look however it may look better with a silver pin stripe to bring the rims into the total package...

I'm open to whatever, but I am pretty set on the blue and black, as far as pinstripe colors I will take suggestions.

The red pin strip would definately be a nice addition...and set it off...if you could add red to another part of the car...like your brake calipers...you might be able to tie it all in together.

so far I am liking the red more. And I was thinking of red for the same reason you were. My brake calipers are red....not sure if you can tell that from this pic, but they are red already.

Actually, she reevaluated the look of your car. She says that your blue is gorgeous! Maybe if you moved the paint line down a few inches say where the middle of the taillights are. Instead of a pin stripe, do a fade from black to blue. It will flow better, her and I think. That would definately be a first and gave me a couple of ideas, myself. You can thank her for the suggestion, and let us know what you decide.

she must be talking about my blue eyes

As for the fade I do not know how that would look. I don't know how to use photoshop so if you would like to try be my guest. I really think it will look nice with a clean cut off of the two colors.

She's got an eye for things being symetrical. I'll give it a shot and see if I can come up with something. I'm a noob at photoshop but starting to learn it, so hopefully I can pull something nice for you.

If anyone else wants to put their skills to use, feel free to do so.

Sorry, this is just my opinion, but I say, FU%CK NO, the photoshop with the red pin strip looks HOT at its current height. If they want ideas or a paint guinea pig, let them try it on their ride...

Also fad in paint jobs are more costly to repair...
