Brake Bleeding Pump...
Brake Bleeding Pump...
Anyone have experience with the brake bleeding systems? Such as these http://search.ebay.com/bleeding-brak...Z1QQsacatZ6028
I will be doing a brake job much sooner than desired. I wont always have extra feet around to pump the brakes, and this method would nice if these product do work. Especially in case I end up working late into the night, it would be hard to wake my sibling out of there deep sleep, just to come pump the brakes for me.
Also if they are decent, are they sold in local stores also? Passenger side brake is dragging and cutting up my rotor. Family wont be home to help when I get home.
Thanks.

Yup, the Mityvac is what I use. I love it. It works very well, and is frankly the only true "one-man bleeder" I've used that's available at stores.
Autozone usually sells the Mityvac for around $30ish, plus Advance Auto Parts has some Actron(?)-brand unit that's similar.

I made my own but those on ebay are so cheap, why not just buy one. Sealing the Master cylinder cap is difficult on imports. Caps are not rigid enough.

I just didnt my girlfriends brakes, and it was pretty easy . . . except for the passenger side caliper bolt stripping
pumping by foot is very tedious

very funny . . . .I'm going to look into your home made kit, would be usefull for those days when there are no extra feet around.
By what time do I need to have my payment in by in order for my brakets and rings to ship out with everyone else?

I bought this: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...temnumber=2068
Works wonderfully for brakes and clutch, and other things. I'm not disappointed. However I think for the money, SpeedBleeders is probably sufficient for most people.
