my rear valence with the body kit is sagging...
for those of you with the kits, how did you secure the sides of the kit where it bends. i have two screws behind the license plate holding the middle up, and two screws on EACH side of the valence in the wheel wells holding em up. but where it wraps around the bumper, it is kinda sagging and sticking out. what did you guys use/do to keep it from doing that? thanks!
Did you get my e-mail?
Mine is riveted behind the license plate and in the wheel wells also. The shop that did mine used 3M (red) tape all the way around everything. The underside of the top lip of the side skirts had to be sanded thinner to make clearance for the doors to close at an even gap. My front lip is actually urethane puttied (sealed) to the front lip of the car, riveted in the wheel wells and two-way taped.

I got your other email, thanks, I need to double check some measurements.
The side skirts on mine are riveted in the wheel wells and all the way down the length of them in the door jams. My kit came with the 3M red tape, but it wasn't pre-attached to anything. It was just rolled up in the box. The body shop probably used more than what came with it. They did a real solid job.
Everything is riveted and taped, plus the front lip being sealed to the car. The only thing that's ever come undone is the rivet inside the right front wheel well that pulled out due to me sliding into a snow bank over the winter. Have to replace that one.
All the measurements I sent you were with the car basically empty. No cargo, or people.

USE
Use 3M cement glue. this **** works great.. well until your car gets hit like mine and then the **** tow truck driver says that everything thing is going to be ok for clearnese and then drives your baby on a road full of **** pot holes and that would swollow a HUGE LOAD. then denines ever damaging the rear end of your ride. but other that that that 3M glue works great. you just have to hold it for like 20 - 30 minutes while it sets up. good luck
