Help gas canister leak fuel!!!

What cause the canister to leak fuel?Is it the evaporator not working, creating too much pressure in the tank?Or is it something simple like the pcv that is clog up or what's the other possible thing to check out?

Did anyone ever got this happen to them?Cause mine was leaking fuel and I went to salvage yard and find another one looking pretty good and change the old one out,and now it's start to leak fuel out of the canister again, please help if you have the same problem or know what the problem was, mine was a 95,so I don't think it will trigger the CEL.Thanx for your help.

Frank, how hard are you driving the car when this is happening?
is the gas tank still completely full?

as we talked on the phone last week, this is normal if you have a full tank of gas and you're driving hard.. mine would spit tons of fuel out when the gauge was above 7/8 and I was on the road course. never saw it on the street though.

then again, yours could be a boost/hose issue as well. I wouldn't suspect it to be the canister itself. it shouldn't be getting liquid fuel. check your check valves, vacuum hose routing, and other fun stuff like that.

Well after I swap the old one out(because I saw the bottom of the old canister came off,so I thought it was the problem),I drive it for 3 days and now it's leaking again,I did fuel my tank up on sat and it didn't leak, until today it's start to leak, but with 3/4 of a tank.So I don't know what's going on.
Did anyone on here have the same problem?
