bit the dust....

Well i had to swap my motor over the holidays(thanks kevlo for the info).now two weeks after it is done the transmission went out.I am getting ready to swap in the anniversary edition tranny.Anyone know the differences? I know lsd but what else???

No difference besides the LSD, you'll need an LSD driver's side axle if your current trans is open diff.

cool, will do.just sux keep on spending money.if you guys know anyone wanting an intake manifold let me know.I've got one for sale.I am going to build a custom one when i build this other motor.

hey the guys at the oarts store said the trannies require different cv joints on both sides.said it is different part numbers and the parts managre st the dealership here said the gearing is different for the anniversary edition.Any knowledge on if the tranny is stronger????

It's not proven to be any stronger and it's got the exact same gearing. I don't know what you mean by "different CV joints on both sides." If you are talking about the axles then yes, the passenger side and driver's side axle are very different from eachother.

I think he ment that he has to get a both drivers side and passanger side axels to swith to a 5th gen VSLD, which is not true. Just the drivers side

cool, yeah i talked to the dealership today and he found out that the drivers side is the only one that needs to be changed.Hey mike i know i keep saying soon , but i mean it, i just keep having other problems come up if you cant tell, lol.I am so ready for the injectors though.well thanks guys.
