what do 5th gen's do for injectors?

I have a set of Z32 TT 370's laying around and realized that they are side feed and my 2000 is top feed so I will have to sell those and get some top feed aftermarket ones I guess? (the set of 370's was from my 4th gen which is now gone...) what is my best bet and deal? who do most 5th gens get their upgraded injectors from? can I get some around that same size but say maybe 400cc's?

I know the De-k has 290's, which probably means I would be at full cycle if I only put down 290@wheels as a rule of thumb, but doesn't the 5th gen's share the same top feed design injectors with the 350Z? what are those rated at?

The DE-K has the same injectors as a 350z so basically you can just use the larger injectors that the 350z guys use. DeatschWerks makes injectors that will drop right in, not sure if they have 400ishcc but they have 550s and 650s. Im planning to go with the 650cc injectors.

In your FS, your wrote they would be a good upgrade from 270/290 injectors. Does you mean 259/290, 4th/5th gen?

Something of interest- I called JWT about some issues I'm having after dropping in the DE-K engine, and Ben asked the engineer, and they said that DE-K's come with the same size injectors as the 4th gens!!! If they made programs for people with DE-K engines/injectors, it sounds like they may be in for a surprise.

isn't the translation or rule of thumb usually 1whp for every 1cc the injectors are rated at without upping the fuel pressure? so for example 370cc injectors support around 370whp without upping the fuel pressure?

Holy double posts Batman!

Hehe...4th gens are 259cc, 2000-2001 DEKs are 290cc, and 2002-2003 are 270cc.

PE380cc would be an upgrade to either 5th gens..

What double post?

Is nobody surprised/outraged at the wrong information that JWT has been using?

No, it's nothing we haven't seen MANY many times before.

If it isn't a SR or VG, they are clueless usually.

That is a very general rule and it only applies to 6 cylinder engines. I would by no means hold it as a very accurate rule though.

says the FWD VQ35 injectors are 315cc.

IceY2K1 says up above they are 270's.

Anyone know for sure.

Ok, gotcha thanks.

So, if using the 3.5L fuel rail and stock pressure regulator you'd have 3.5 bar then right, or are the 4th gen 3.5L swappers using different regulators?

thanks,
allen

The VQ35 FPR is contained on the fuel pump housing...the two FPR looking pieces are just dampeners.

Most convert from a returnless setup to a return setup....

If you SEARCH...many of your injector and FPR questions have been clearly explained. Check the All Motor forum.
