Any Ideas on how to clean the film off the plastic headlight covers

Does anyone have any way to clean off the film off of the plastic headlight covers to make them clear again?

Many products out there that work. Plexus, Novus or even whatever brand plastic polish should do it. I've used novus and some wet sanding to get my headlights nice and smooth, and also clear again.

use meguairs mag and wheel polish. It works realyl well. But after wards use the scratch remover n then polish the headlights to prevent being scummed up again.

Akumachan and I recently wetsanded our headlights, although we still need to do a bit more polishing to make them COMPLETELY crystal clear.

If they're pitted or scratched, try wetsanding. Otherwise, just use some plastic/acrylic polish like PlastX... or the Mother's one. I actually bought them both because I thought that they weren't working for clearing up the headlights.... but it just takes a bit of work and a bit more elbow grease. Don't give up, and you'll see results.
