Well i was trying to change my broken passenger side windshield wiper arm. Then i took off the broken arm. Next thing I know the stud and the unit falls through the whole into the firewall. I noticed the pieces of white plastic that keeps it up is broken and thats the reason in fell through. So because it fell through my windshield wipers don't work anymore because i think they are disconnected from the motor.

Can anyone help me. I don't know how to get in that area where the wiper motor is.

 

take off the other wiper, and remove the large black grill/cowl. you need to remove a bunch of plastic clips and or screws. nothing tough.

 

thanks, the only problem is i didn't see any screws just clips that look permanent

 

you may just have to pry the edge up to get it started. its been awhile since i did mine. hey you could ask a windshied repair shop if all else fails.

 

does anyone know anything about this.

 

Speaking of wipers... so there wiper blades connected to the wiper arms but whats the name for whats attachted to the wiper arms down to the bolt??

I ordered a Wiper Pivot but its not what i was looking for....
