Hey guys.....

just a suggestion but why don't we make this a "sticky" like in the 4th gen forum, it looks like a great idea and from what I've seen they haven't had any flames or problems!

and I run a 16.7 in my VG auto with intake.

LOL.. not me. I ran 17.0 with my 90 SE 5-spd on one of my runs. Probably because I was spinning my tires in 1st & half way through 2nd gear.

Did someone say TIMESLIPS????

Yeah my stock run was 15.5 so I have gained from advanced timing, cone filter, removed trunk and seats, 22lbs. in the front tires, and I run on fumes.......

In these timeslips I am car #163 on the left the 14.9 was the first run of the day, the 14.8 was the second. From there it got hot out and I went back to the 15.0's for the rest of the day.

I have no doubts that hes an awesome driver as well.

Teaching yourself to shift better is one of the best mods you can do...and its free (as long as you dont burn up your clutch or grind gears)!

jeff, are you implying that i can't shift? LOL, actually, i am going to have to replace my clutch soon, i think that's hurting me a little, i can no longer chirp second, it's all mush oh well, when i get back from camp i'll throw a nice clutch in her. might as well, i'm getting the exhaust done. I cut off that stupid restrictive muffler yesterday. i'm really hopin with a clutch and my catback (coming in august when i get back from NY) i'll be into the 14's. hey any of you guys have a custom exhaust? what size pipe did you use?

Im the last one that should be talking about bad shifting! 17.1!!

Ive never been able to scratch 2nd since Ive had my car. No one can, none of my friends. Actually I didnt on Saturday night, when I was really ****ed off. I let the clutch out at about 4000rpm, spun through first and nailed 2nd. But thats the only time. It may be my crappy tires too. Pirelli P600s arent as great as I was hoping.

wow that sux! i used to be able to chirp 3rd no prob, but 111,000 miles on the original clutch is starting to take it's toll. oh well, prolly replace that at the end of the summer. ... i just don't feel like pulling my tranny.

Oh ok.. My first impression was that he ran 14.8 bone stock. Now I know that he was slightly modded. Thanks

Customer all the way and you'd be suprised with at how far some hot glue will get you when it comes to adapter fabrication.

hahahahahaha that's hillarious, i wish i had taken pics of my intake while i was making it. it turned out REALLY well, and really professional looking. plus, it is attached better than i thought it would. I used the stock brass plate from inside the itake box, and it bolted directly to the MAF tube. so it was MADE TO FIT

Hehe.. it's actually my Team mate's Integra. He went on vacation for a week so he gave me the car to drive around and help him try to sell it. Driving this car makes me miss my old SkyBlue max. But this thing is 10x worse!! It draws attention like you won't believe! I've only had the car for a few hours before getting pulled over by a State Trooper. He was asking me where my front turn signals were. Then I had to tell him that it was behind the mesh grille. Don't worry.. I'm still a NISSAN fan.

I doubt that, but I am going in for a tune up and oil change soon. I will tell you if that changes anything. plus, I failed to mention the 145000 miles the car has on it. that could be part of it as well. But I will keep trying, I swear that that the mid 15's is where I will be before the end of August!

As for stickification, I think that this is an important one, but eventually all stickys that don't have current posts need to move to a FAQ rather than sit in front of truly relevant issues. A lot of the previous stickies should be archived in a FAQ or something.......
