Windshield wiper "click"

I noticed it yesterday as it was raining, but from sitting inside, the left wiper(looking through the windshield) makes a clicking noise everytime it's at the edge of the window, I checked to make sure the blade was secure, and it is. Tried again today, with windshield wiper fluid, and still had the same click, any suggestions?

its just a floppy doppy wiper, I have that same thing like when it peaks, it flips over to the other side to go in the other direction, and since it has like 4 joins to flex, they just click. Annoying no doubt, but something thats just THERE.

Are you using stock wiper blades - or after market?

well there goes my theory, If its the 27 inch one though, I bet it still has hinge points to allow it to curve to the windshield right? If so then it's the same as the stock

well .. either go back to OEM, or I've heard that PIAAs are nice. Should fix your problem. I've used OEM always and have never experienced a "clicking" problem. Good luck.

PIAA silicones are nice, kinda expensive though, for a wiper that is.
