e-break questions

hey guys,
i was putting my winter rims/tires on, and i realized when i pulled my ebreak up that only my rear left one was breaking, my right rear one wasnt breaking at all....My dad checked everything and he says that the thing in the back ( i dont know whats it called) its stuck, like my break was stuck, but that didnt stop the tire from spinning at all.....and we came to the conclusion that we need that new (wire thingy) that goes from e-break to the break in the rear...
where can i get that? i looked at some nissan sites but couldnt find any?
did anyone have problem with this before?
please please help?, my can not be driven
the rear break is stuck.....
pls help....

could be frozen (due to ice) or seized caliper. Usually it's the caliper, not the cable - unless he visually saw something that indicated the cable.

ok my dad took the cable that goes from the break to e-break, he unpluged it from the break, and he tried to move caliper with his hands and he succeded and the caliper works just fine... but the cord it can be moved but really really hard, he would have to pull on it to help it out move.....
so its most likely not the cord.....
he unhooked my ebreak so i can drive to school tomorrow, but is there any kind of special spray that we can spray into the cord and make it function well...
or do we have to change the whole cord that goes from ebreak to the break....
if we have to change it, we will most likely have to remove the bpipe too...
i might be wrong.
but any info will help a lot

It's hard when English is your second language, fellas.

Huso,

Break is something you never want to happen to your car.

Brake is something that you always want working in your car.

Hope it's an easy fix.

Not that I'm sure but, have someone hold the brake pedel, and see if that wheel still turns free. If so I would assume that you have a frozen caliper.

Just another thing that I just thought of, if I recall correctly behind the brake calliper there's a bracket that holds the cable, If thats out maybe the hand-brake won't work for that wheel. (Just something that I thought about but I can be wrong!)

I think they have every OE part in our cars. They could probably supply you for a complete tear down/build operation.
