um doesn't the jack stand belong under the car

So I take it you didn't warm up the engine to normal operating temps?

oh, and I don't see an open hood.... you filled it with new oil, right?

lol.... there was too much snow to open the hood

btw tavarish, the tranny didnt blow, just the axle slipped out, thats why i was under the car, i needed to get the axle in before the dam snow plows came and plow me in

no thanks i worked for nissan and no way i want some technician that is getting paid flat rate working on my car. the reason for that is the one goal that that tech has is how to get that car in and out asap. so they dont drain all of your oil. just most of it and then stick the plug back in. i rather do it myself and do it right. if the tech was getting paid by the hour that is another story.

Here's a piece of advice: get a garage.

BTW: You're a much braver man than I. I'd drive down to McDonalds, find a "day worker" and pay him to do it while I watched from my cozy front window of my house!

2 da max, your crazy. Half a mile over due?? I take it your housing the Caddy and beating the max around during the cold NY wheather.

My car would have waited till it wasnt as cold, 15 miles overdue isnt that harmful at all.
