Indiglo Gauges

Recently my indiglo gauges keeps on flickering by itself. The color changes, lights going from full brightness to no lighting all by itself. Basically it seems like the controller is doing it by itself. Now i have the positive wire hooked up to the heated seat fuse and the negative is secured on a metal bracket under the steering wheel. Did I install it wrong? Any suggestion to where I should hook up the positive wire to have it light up only when the headlight is on? Any advice will help.

I spliced the power line into the line going into the illumination control switch to the right of the steering wheel. Connected a small ring terminal to the ground wire and put it under the screw in back of the gauge cluster labeled GND.

I've had them on for less than 6 month. Which part is the inverter?

the inverter is the little box looking thing that you plus all the guages into, i guess it send a constant supplyof power to the guages....it usually makes the little hummnig noise...
