driver headlight vertical adjustment bolt snapped, now what?

i was attempting to aim my headlights after doing the 9004/9007 and ae mods. i put the socket wrench on the vertical adjustment, gave it a little go, and snap, the little plastic nut snapped right in half!

so, now what the **** do i do?

the only way that would work is if i took the head light off the car. id have to remove it, hold it and adjust it, put it back in, check, and repeat.
