Something to plug license plate holes with

I remember seeing a thread on here a long time ago about somebody who had found two plugs that filled the two holes left in the front bumper after removing the license plate. but i don't remember where they came from or what the part was called. if anybody could help me out, it would be much appreciated.

bumperplugs.com looks interested, but a set is $34 shipped - that's a lot for two pieces of plastic!

Yeah I've been riding with those holes for almost 2 years. Need to cover them up as well. $34 for plugs is. Need to find something better.

use plastic plugs from a furniture store. you can get them at home depot for a few cents. just paint to top with touch-up paint. very similar to bumpperplugs.com plugs.

How come you guys don't need the front plate anyways? I would love to remove the front plate it's so ugly.

I'm with you on that JaKillz... Stupid M******* makes us have a plate on the front I know some states don't require the front plate or Older plates are only required on the back (Look at green license plates in MA you will notice there is only 1 not 2 plates MA changed that with the Red letter plates to require front and back.)

i've been wanting to do this for a while but i think i'm kinda stuck, once i removed my plate a while back two screws that hold the plate to the peice of plastic were a bit too long and i guess the sharp tip has been touching the bumper enough to scratch it over time, now there are two little rust spots as well as those holes that need to be pluged which isn't the problem anymore. I don't think there is anything i can do about that unless i repaint my bumper ;/ ...am i right?
