ok, i just met a co-worker of mine and we talked about cars and he as a 95 240sx with the engine bored out to 3.2L! absolutely nothing else, not even an exhaust or intake, nada. he is also an automatic. can i take him? my very little mods are listed below...

even though i've never seen the KA24DE with the head off, i'd be willing to bet my maxima that there is no possible way to bore that particular 2.4L engine out to 3.2L.

leave him intha dust... boring out a 2.4 to 3.2 would be stupid, he'd f*** up tha engine even before he started... make him a bet or something haha... an auto 240 is like a match for a frickin Honda Civic DX Auto...

 

is it really not possible? he started up the engine and revved it and ir roared like a Z28. it had a real grumble to it. he said the had it done at his friends shop for 2500, half of what it would have been. i dont see why he would BS because he is part of a reputable car club that i know of.

 

If he's not BSing, he might be trying to sandbag you. Catch you offguard with some bullsh!t mod, and then give you a beating when the race is on.

 

im talking to him online right now and another member of his car club has a 96 max with a nos, y-pipe and other bolt ons. he said when they raced, he stayed on the max's tail off the bottle, but when the max does spray, there is no chance for him. that sounds about right doesnt it...keeping in mind that he has no other bolt ons.

 

get a supercharger with BOV and tell him you bored yr maxima to 8.0L and added 4 extra cyclinders just like a
viper

 

i've never seen a 4 cyl engine with enough thickness in the sleeves to be bored out ALMOST ONE WHOLE LITER. Something is wrong here... did you have him rev the engine up at all, or did it just idle. Cuz even the buzzy engined hondas have a pretty low idle tone. Just race him for the hell of it anyways... not like he can fire you right? i dont see why people are so cautious about who they race, its fun no matter you win or lose, at least it is for me.

are you serious?!?! i went to lunch with him that day and he told me it was bored out to 3.2L and told me the outcomes of him racing you. is he just full of it or lost? haha, i'll race him someday during our lunch break.. his car did sound pretty loud when he revved it though.

yeah, he thinks he has Greddy headers on his car too, but he really has the stock exhaust manifold. i'm not really sure why he think he has all that done to his car.
his car is pretty much stock, i think.

he loses to Si's and we have never raced.
