ce foglight question

I was wondering if the ce foglight is compatible with the oem fog light harness or do I need to rewire the ce fogs separately with the kit that they offer?. I have a gle so I think all the wiring is already there.

Well, the wiring kit is free on there $24.99 foglights, so if you really want them, it shouldn't matter.

I prefer that it would be "plug and play" because I don't feel like wiring up stuff outside when it's 15 degrees cold.

even if the OEM plug is there in the fog light area, wouldn't you still need to buy a new light stalk for the fog on off switch?

The CE fog light comes with hard wire installation kit, but you can get that 9.99 wireless kit for free. I didn't like the wireless kit, kind of stupid and made cheap in my preference. I like hard wiring it so I know it is secure. Also I don't think the stock foglight harness works with the CE fogs, there different. Plus as maximus said you need the oem stalk and the relay for it.

I got my new CE fogs after breaking off my old one. The salt on the streets of chicago killed and rusted my bolts. I can change out the bulb to be blue/white if i want to. I have like 4 sets of H3 in my room, they are i think 4200k, but I haven't yet. I think I like my new ones, let me post pics later, I need to upload them from my camera to the net.

not to sound stupid, but when you put fogs in, do you need to take off the whole bumper? thanks

It makes it a whole lot easier if you do. Pain in the @$$ to take off but it is well worth it while mounting the fog lights. I've done it like 6 times, so yeah it is best to take off.
