So this means your making about 205 HP at the crank. I thought the 4th gens made 222 stock? I know a auto looses about 10 HP but your mods should have more then made up for that, hmm? Strange.
Hmm. Not bad for an automatic!
(for reference, a 2k 5-spd makes 180~190fwhp).
(for reference, a 2k Acura 3.2TL automatic makes 160~170fwhp. My dad's 2000 3.2TL here: http://www.brian1.net/saturn/stocktldyno_2a.jpg )
From other dyno #'s I've seen 170fwhp *stock* is as expected for a 2k auto. So 180fwhp is a little low IMHO, but not too bad. Was your car hot, or had it been sitting in the parking lot cooling off for a while?
Rims and brakes would affect it too...
Not really.
He's probably making 222hp at the crank.
Automatics lose considerably more power than manuals do. A high-HP SR20DE, automatic vs. manual may make up to 50fwhp less with the same mods. If my dad's 3.2TL's power output is anything like the Maxima (225hp vs. 222hp), then 167fwhp from 222 (or 225) crank HP for a baseline is probably about right.
So, I'd say that while Kevin's car is about 5hp lower than I'd like, it does look about on the money for power... because the 5hp lower is something I can't verify as being "low" on power yet.

Emax,
4th gen's put out 190 and 2k's put out 222. You should know that, you had a 4th gen!!! cmon! anyways, there isnt a set number of HP auto's lose. Its around 20-25% drivetrai loss and 5speed is around the 10-15% range. dependant on how efficent each car is but thats about average.

I love on the 5g how theirs that little dip at 5k when the intake runners switch over and then the HP just keeps going up. I sure hope I can make the manifold fit on my 4g cause 5k is where the 4g hp falls off.

Forgot to mention... I still have my Service Engine Light on (if that makes a difference), and Stillen didn't turn off the radio or AC (retards).

Hey Kev, do you have the raw data printed out from your runs? If not, how about the ".djr" file? I'd really like to view our dyno runs on the same graph. If you don't have either, you could call up Stillen and ask them to send you the results in djr format and download the viewer from DynoJets' site and play with them yourself.
Re: Nice dyno Kev!
MaxVader... you are Federal spec, right? and Kevin is Cali spec.
