OPINIONS needed....keep new grill or leave stock?

I just got this street scenes lower valence grill today for my 01 and I'm having a hard time deciding if I like it or not. I hate the big opening in the lower grill, but I'm not sure if the new grill flows well or not. I'm thinking it almost looks kinda cheap....but I can't decide whether to leave it stock or keep the grill. Here are the pics:

Before:

After:

If I decide not to keep it, i will be selling it...

Thanks for the input.

Looks OK, you might want to match the top grille with the lower valance opening thought. IMO.

Personally, never been a big fan of chickenwire-esque grilles.

it looks fine, but i would suggest to only keep it in if you mod the top grill, seeing how its black plastic, and the lower is chrome-ish. it will look smoother and will flow better if both grills look the same, or at least the same color. if you want to sell it, i need one, cause the support looking things that are in the bottom grill are broken on my 00 max. it should fit right? (00-03 is same basic shape/size?)

i have 2k3 front bump on my 2k white max, so just the lower insert painted a lighter gray/silver than it came, with my stillen f. lip looks great. But your car being dark in color you have to match or at least come close to a darker lower grille so it will blend in more. right now it;s sticking out to much, darken it and it'll look good. light on dark = bad flow just like if mine were dark on light= bad flow. no on upper + lower as it looks cheap imho.

p.s before i changed over to the 2k3 bump for my 2k i bought the larger 2k3 nissan front grille hamburger emblem and put it on my 2k grille. you'd be shooked at what a better look it gave her. might want to try that, i payed $32 for it at my local dealership.

I agree here. Top grill or stock! (Maybe paint match?)

they look ugly as anything... glad your getting rid of it. id say get a black grille-tech insert.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/00-01...QQcmdZViewItem

but even thats ugly, i dont like any of the combinations so 02 front cover is what i plan to convert to, a LOT more options.

I have the grille-tech inserts in the lower part on my bumper. I think it looks great on the 5.5 gen. I didnt listen when everybody told me they would rust, and they are starting to turn brown from all the road salt this winter.
