So where is the thermal flasher located?

Since the new LED relay that replaces the factory thermal flasher unit was introduced, it took care of my "don't want load resistor" problem for LED turn signals. But where exactly is the thermal flasher located?

I don't know where it is, but have you checked the obvious places?

Fusebox in car, boxes under hood?

Well, on other cars it is supposedly in or near the steering wheel. I guess I'll go take a closer look in the engine bay and driver side fuse box.

Do you have a Haynes manual? Or, apparently you can get a full Service Manual in PDF format from somebody on the forum.

I ran into the same problem. The flasher is a 3 prong relay looking thing... that is to the right of the driver side fuse box inside the car. You do have to take apart the plastic to get to it... you can't get to it from the fuse box area. Also... I bought an electronic flasher off of ebay from velocityleds, and it constantly blows fuses. I am in the process of them giving me a refund so that I can get the load resistors. The flasher may have just been bad... but I don't want to mess with it again.
