Can anyone describe how loud a y-pipe is over stock and is the cost really worht it? Do you really get noticable power gains? Any help would be great.

 

It is not louder but b/c of the increased airflow it may make the intake a little louder (but still mininal). Is it worth the $? It is the best hp gains for the $$$. You get 10-20 hp at the wheels depending on your other mods. If you were buying a new car and there was a $300 option for an extra 20 hp would you buy it? If so-then a Y pipe os for you. I have a warpspeed pipe and the hp diff is very noticeable over 3000 rpm.
