Cracked the inner light and I got a replacement but it needs the sticky stuff, anyone have a part number or the actual name of it so when I go down to Nissan im not a fool infront of the hot service girl saying hey I need some sticky stuff.

 

just call it all-weather sealant, then act like shes an idiot and tell her its the sticky stuff

well it ended up being called winshield replacement bead stripping or somecrap from 3m. Only sell it in 20ft sections which sucks so if anyone needs any ill send ya some for a few bucks

 

Just use silicone. it works fine and its cheap

It's called Dumdum and it's available at most auto parts stores.

Geez, guys. It's Butyl rubber or they call it butyl tape. Do not use silicone!! That was a dumbas$ comment.

Yep.. thats the exact stuff! In the aftermarket world its known as 'dum dum', which I believe somebody already pointed out.. same **** either way! We use them both here at the stealership..
