Do all 6 speeds have HLSD

Since I am not able to do a search, I was hoping you all could shed some light on this subject for me. I am looking to buy an 02-03 six speed in the near future and am curious. Also does it seem to help the torque steer issue any? Thanks.

its a factory option, easiest way to tell is by looking a the pedals. if theyre drilled metal ones it has it, if theyre black rubber it doesnt. bare minimum effort and you couldve found that info yourself

Not if someone added aftermarket or even AE pedals to their 02-03, which many people do.

The easiest way is to pop the hood and look at the transaxle code. What to look for is in the thread I posted above.

I was gonna use you as an example of someone who did, but figured you'd own up to your "HLSD mod" yourself anyways....

I have 2 sets in an envelope somewhere... you can have one of em. I can only handle so much whp on a FWD car. Torque steer is a b1tch.

Thanks guys for the info on the HLSD and on the searching as well. I have used google and other search engines, but it would be nice to be able to isolate it just in maxima.org instead of all of the other sites it picks up.

Here's how to do a site specific search using Yahoo or Google and there's also Kevlo's free .Org search engine:

yeah thanks like i wasnt aware you could add pedals, i was just giving the guy a simple answer to a simple question assuming the car was stock. looking at pedals is alot easier than popping the hood and reading a code.

1. I implied nothing of your awareness or knowledge.

2, I gave the guy a reliable and fool-proof answer to his simple question.

3. Sure, looking at pedals is a lot easier than popping the hood, but is it really that much trouble to pop the hood? I'm not sure I understand why you think that is not a "simple" solution either.
