Hey guys,

I'm getting my supercharger in a little while, and instead of doing some other engine work or an intercooler, I think I'm going to beef up my tranny. I know I can get the Canadian Spec Tranny but I dont need the whole tranny, right? Or is the whole tranny better? Maybe I could just buy the LSD. Anyways, I'm considering doing the LSD, clutch, and flywheel, all at once. Thanks for any help.

Another place to find a VLSD is from a 5spd I30T. I think they are about $2000 new.

I think Cattman is supposed to be releasing a real nice settup in September or something too, so you may want to wait.

I called a junk yard, and they said that it would be 1550 plus 75 shipping to get a I30 5spd tranny with VLSD. Is that worth it? Would it be cheaper to get the canadian one?

Thanks.

The canadian tranny and the I30 tranny are the same so where ever you can find the best deal go for it.

I personaly whould not bother spending the money on a oem VLSD, I have one and had a SC and the car still pealed out like crazy. I whould personaly wait for Cattmans piece to come out because it looks to be far superior to the I30/Canadian VLSD.
