I have had my clear bumper lights from courtesy in for about 2 or 3 weeks now. Well, i was driving on I-70 in Maryland yesterday through a wide open area and decided to lay down the throttle-yeeeeeee! I hit about 130mph and heard a clunk in the drivers side front wheel well. I thought it was just a stone coming out of my tire tread. Well, to my disappointment I got home and the clear side marker was hanging off the car (luckily the lense was still attached). The plastic piece that the lens backing pops into looked worn out and will not hold the lens in place, it just keeps popping out. Has anyone ever had this happen? Remedy? Thanks for the help.

Or you could do as I did and reuse the factory ball mounts. I unscrewed the factory ones and put them into the clear lenses. You'll notice they are a little wider than the ones that come with the clear lenses thus they pop into the socket tighter. What I did was bore out the hole with a drill bit and just screwed the mounts into the clears. Voila! They are not as secure as screwing them in from the inside but I wasn't to worried about someone stealing them.

What i did was unscrew the studs from the clear turnsignal so that the stud was sticking out further then it fit snug into the hole.
