It's interesting to see the difference in the tone over there than over here. Their moderator just flamed Zach pretty badly. Yeah, the performance numbers for the car look good, but reality is that most Civic SI drivers have NO WHERE NEAR the skill required to drive the Si to its full potential. Of course, Civic Si drivers will always claim otherwise

i dunno, i heard one burned a pinto last week. i was quite amazed by the sheer power and speed of those things, becuz u know, us maximas are slow since we weigh "3300" that must make us run in the 100s.

I read that crap and even noticed that one of the posters has a '95 Impala SS that is modded. Hell, I have driven a '95 and a '96 that were both modded. However, that, in and of itself does not excuse them from acting as asinine as they do. I have met people with souped up vehicles ranging from Hyundais to blown 911s and the people I meet are just as much into cars as I am. They don't dog me because I drive a Max but we share information on how and where to tweak our cars at.

I agree that the org is a cool place to hang and get info and the moderators here do a good job keeping things in order and on a more mature level.


But from my standpoint, I think the best thing is to ignore the little twerps.

 

I suppose I wouldn't want my hopped-up ricer or my V8 musclecar having it's *** handed to me by a 4-door sedan either, but just cause I constantly lost to one, doesn't mean I'd be acting like that. I'd guess the average age over there is probably like 17 or so (I'm not one to talk-I'm 20), but I don't think the average over here is that much higher, and yet we're far more mature. Actually, just out of curiosity, how old are most people around here?
