battery box pics please

everyone likes to show off their new turbos, but where are the battery relocation pics? like what corner of the trunk is good? i was thinking the rear right but jack is right there. up against the seat would be nice but that would be hard to jump start if needed. any input would be greatly appreciated.

Does your car have an electronic trunk popper on the door, or just the normal manual one down on the floor. If it's electronic put it close to your pass-thru so you can reach through easily if your battery is totally dead (meaning you can't pop your trunk...)

Nice. I've got mine in the back passenger corner. It's going to be going back up front soon though.

Hah good point. I didn't think about that because my trunk key doesn't work so I personally CAN'T open the trunk with the key, so if my battery dies I've got problems. I wasn't thinking logically sorry, was just thinking of my own crappy experiences with it.

i have the trunk key issue too. so yeah how are you gonna move it back up front? unless you mount your turbo down lower.

My turbo is not near the typical turbo install location. Where most people put their turbo, I have a big open space.

I suggest going with a small battery like the Hawker and keeping it in the engine bay.

why is that you guys can't open the trunk with your key? i know that for the 2k maximas the valet keys cannot open the trunk, but if any of the master keys can.

I don't know if it is because I only was given the valet key when I bought my car or if there is something wrong with the lock. Not sure.

My key won't open the trunk either. I have been stuck twice with a dead battery and no way to get into the trunk.

go to the dealership and get a key punched out. the valet key is thinner than the master keys.. before you go punching a new key, try to compare it with someone else's maxima master key.

i got scared the first time i used my valet key, i thought my trunk was broken too.

Yeah, good point. If you have a stereo system you probably shouldn't get a small battery.

I guess I just assume most people who go boost don't want the extra weight of a stereo. I actually thought twice before adding a CD changer - lol.

Anyway, back to your original request for some pics. Not the best but here is i30crab's:
