Interesting findings re. green-dot injectors...

I bought 2 VG fuel injector rails recently. Both turned out to be green dots. This set is from an early-production 1993 model (Nov. 1992)

...and this second pic is from a 1994 Maxima.

I was shocked to notice that the nozzle shapes are different even though they are both green dots! Anyone know why Nissan did this? Will the flow rates probably be different? I ask because both their harnesses are the same!

those are just covers and pop off. in not sure what they are for, but i dont think they have an effect on flow.

Yes my injector tips started out looking like the second picture. Then I had them cleaned and the cleaning shop put on new caps and they looked like the first picture. So the first caps may just be aftermarket caps added when the injectors were cleaned previously.
