There's a place on Nothern Blvd. in Queens called Rampage Auto Sports i believe, they got a Dyno over there....=)

They quoted me $165 or something close to that per hour on the dyno.. minimum 1 hr.

There's also a place out on Long Island called Lizzard Racing out in West Babylon. I think they charge about $100/hour.

 

why is dyno time so expensive?

 

Because the dyno and installation is a $30k+ investment and they have to pay that off as well as paying a technician for the hour.
