How hard is it to wire a VIPER alarm? Anyone have instructions?

How hard is it to wire a VIPER alarm? Anyone have instructions?

Should I aattempt? I am very mechanical and really do not want to pay $150 for an install........anyone have any instructions

I never installed an alarm, but most electrical stuff is fairly simple. A hayes manual helps with the electrical diagrams on the back, although you can find most of the stuff you need online.

I believe all an alarm needs to do is lock/unlock doors, possibly role down window, etc. You can tap right into the wires you need pretty easy by the BCM and in the engine bay.

The instructions (at least for wiring come with each kit) but if you don't know much about working with the wiring of the car I would suggest you have it installed by an authorized dealer to get the lifetime warantee (if that is still the way it is)....

If you do decide to try it yourself, avoid all wires in yellow looms unless you want to buy new airbags...
