Maybe the driver is an idiot for thinking he can, but saying the car sucks because of that is a pretty dumb generalization. I'm glad that you can beat a Mustang on your bike, you'd have to be an idiot not to be able to.

the new cobra is very fast, in general.
but in comparision to some car in its class, it's slow.

 

I am not big on the whole racing aspect of the sport, but I understand that they break the cars into different classes...Now what class would the cobra be categorized in, and what other cars (both slower and faster) would be in the same class?

SS is the highest line.

 

yea, camaro comes in 3 trims, just like stangs, the weakest one is a 3.8L V6 engine with 200hp, pretty slow, and then, the Z28, a 5.7L V8 engine with 310hp, the topest one is SS, i believe it shares the same engine with the Z28, but with 325hp.

The new Cobra's are competing with the camaro ss now. Ford realized that they were claiming that the car had 320hp, many people after getting the car dynoed and found the car only to have around 300. I would be ****ed. They didn't release any cobra's last year due the "flaw". It's fixed now and the cobra's are pulling 13.5@105 compare that to the camaro ss with 13.5@107. 0-60 times are even closer too: Cobra -> 4.8 and the Camaro with 4.9
