ok this is what i think. i think you guys don't win most of your races because you have "y-pipes" "b-pipes" or something like that but quite simply beause you are crazy *** driving mugs. many of the cars you beat is probably just because you have more ba**z than the other guy. this is not an insult (acutually in many cases its a compliment). anyway you take it, let me know what you think.

actually...

I've raced a supercharged Camry all the way up to 110 on the freeway, and he was already 3 or 4 cars lengths ahead, prolly doing 120... I've raced a Prelude up to 90 on a feeder road (I won that one)... I've raced my buddy in his CL up to 70 *downtown* in a 30 zone (got him by 1 car lenght)... these guys all had *****.

Just my experiences.

limit

cars have limits , no matter how big of ***** you have , unless the car is modified to hold your big ***** for you , you cant win,,, i raced an old man in a benz on the highway , and he smoked me , because his car could go 150 mph and mine couldnt...

I have to agree with you, sometimes. If it's all open road and it's just go side by side and nothing to worry about the mods do help. but in traffic, around a windy road or somewhere where there are hazards the craziest $hit will win most of the time, that must be why i win most of the time, i'm not crazy am i?

no i didn't get a room yet. I have one other person coming with me but i have this entertainment card and i have get 50% off of certain hotels, i'm gonna check it out later and get some prices. I can get like 5 more of the cards from other people, that might be enough for a good amount of us, esp. if you can use the card for more than one room.

I think the reason I win nearly every single race is because I'm nearly always racing a Honda j/k

Seriously, I think the reason I win a lot is because my Max is rather quick and under estimated AND I think I'm a pretty good driver. Those that have ridden with me are usually impressed by my ability to bang the 2-3 and 3-4 shifts without powershifting. Most guys don't know how to race thier cars. I've this time and time again at the track.

As for racing in the turns and blind corners. I think that's the stupidest kind of racing. That is extremely dangerous and way too many things can go wrong. I hardly race on the street, but when I do, it's on a LONG open straight and empty that is wide with no real turn ins for traffic. I also don't race past 80mph (45mph zone) because by 80, you know which car is winning. If I start to see the guy pull me, then I let off. Why contine to race when you know you've been beat?

I think the Y-pipe and other mods have helped my car fairly well. As tested by Motor Trend, a 95/96 Maxima is was good for 15.2@91mph (broken in with 40000 miles). I consider MT pretty good drivers PLUS their times are corrected for conditions and elevation. My Max has hit 14.7s at 94 without powershifting or correcting for elevation or conditions. I don't think there's anyway a stock 4th gen Max can hit that kind of et, especially that kind of trap speed. According to the dyno, I am putting down about 210hp and 230lb/ft of torque at the fly or about 20hp and 25lb/ft more torque than the stock 190hp/205 torque. I know I could hit a 14.5 if I could just drop my 60' another .1 of a second.

Tru. racing on the highway is simply testing the highest speed of your car. Yesterday i raced this 88 beamer i will say with a old man driving. it was pretty fast but i kept up with it until we both took the same exit.. he rolls down his windows and was like thumbs up to me. any ways.. the real races are really stop light to stop light ones in which you can check how QUICK ur car is..

later

hahaha, i just saw dave matthews yesterday with my sister and 2 of her friends, it was a fairly good concert, considering that the only reason I went was to protect my sis from the psycho's there, I had fun listenning to it.

the effects were cool, the fact that they had 4 huge projection screens on the stage so we could see everything was apreciated

well, i think that's an overstatement, no offense, but metallica concerts are much better, more effects, more alive crowd
