Well I posted this in the other topic i started about fuses but now the project is almost done and i wanted to let everyone know how it looks(yes i am adding molding to the sides). i can hook up any composite signal so i am going to put in a computer with tv out but just for testing purposes I have a PS2 hooked up (the black box in the lower right). I have documented everything so i will have a webpage up soon with pictures of how to do this yourself.. this only cost me about $160 to do!

Lookin good. I've been thinking about doing the same thing. Where did you get the LCD, and what size is it?

nice installation..... this is kinda related to i thought that i would post.... Im new so i do not know if this has been posted before...

My current project is like gregulator's lcd screen installation, except i made mine a touch screen. The lcd screen is hooked up to my laptop, and i programmed my own mp3 storage/ player. I simply press the down arrow for song title and a list of all my songs pops down; i press the song twice and it plays the song..... Volume is adjusted by 2 buttons on the program....Just thought id post.... what do u think?

160 bucks?!?!

Ive seen those LCD Screens, they are like 100 bucks, right? So you must have done this install your self, eh? How many hours did it take? I want to do this, but suck at installing stuff... tell me all about it!

good job gregulator. I installed this setup about 5 months ago in my 97 max SE. I have a clarion screen with clarion cd player on the bottom like u have an aiwa..a clarion cd cnahger in my glove box. got my dvd player under the seat and the clarion vcr(with tv tuner) on the rear deck between the 2 rear speakers. Personally i think this setup looks hell lot better than a folding out screen. my next project is to put tvs in the headrest. for that i will prob go with the screen like urs....

http://pigseye.kennesaw.edu/~oshabbir/mycar.htm for pics

ps. this shows my older cd player. still have to get the pics of my new cd player setup.
