New family member :-)

My wife has been wanting a maxima for a while now[I stole the green one from her some years ago],so after selling her pos ford van i found this sweet little ride for her..
It is a 94 gxe with 104,000 miles on it...I got it from a org member in atlanta...He said it needed a fuel injector, but upon further inspection it just needed some spark plugs..
This car rides and drives great,i realize now how wore out my suspension is on my green max...
Here are some pics of her..Enjoy

buha. I have an auto now so it might be difficult. But considering how much faster the G is compared to the RX300, she might have been passing everyone for the 1st few miles.

Yup my old gold Se came with black plastic and gray cloth. But I swapped my mint black leather over and sold the cloth to Mrgone. Then he put the cloth into his white se. Then he sold the white Se. Then he sold his aftermarket black leather for profit.

It may be me but why does her car look like it has been lowered. BTW the mods you listed better include a VB mod and tranny cooler (Most efficient mod for the auto 3rd gen IMO). That is if you want it to last when you (meaning you seeing what an auto can do vs a much quicker 5 speed) drive it.

I dont think it has been lowered,it has new struts up front[monroes][havent checked the rear yet]..I will be doing the valve body mod to the tranny soon....trans cooler=meh, don't think it is as important as vb mod..

you may just want to check out the transgo kit
transcooler = cheap insurance, even just a small one (just depends.. how hot does it get there? is she a maniac? etc)

How much is a the transgo kit for the maxima??
Yeah,it does get hot here[80-90 degrees] but she is not too nutty behind the wheel...

For now i will get a cooler for it...I am a little worried about changing the tranny fluid though

Trust me with the VB mod the shifts are harder so that means more temps as the tranny is shifting quicker. I wish I would have done this to my maxima when I had it.
When you are changing the fluid change the filter while you're down there. Loosen the pan a little bit allow the fluids to pour out while you grab a drink. Then when it stops flowing take it completely off change the filter. Then redo all that you undid. Refill the pan to the correct level. Then loosen one end of the cooler line place the removed end into a bucket crank the car and watch the dirty fluid pour into the bucket as you are adding more fluid. When the fluid that's going into the bucket is pure and clean you can turn the car off, reattach the line and you're good to go. I just did it on my probe before I blew the tranny on it. Me vs Auto = I win and loose a good car at the same time.

That is a myth...if its dirty change it. The old saying of if its been a while then dont change it is a lie.

If you change the fluid and it dies it was going to die anyway (probably faster). I have changed the fluid on a few I bought that didnt look good at all and I never had a problem and I started changing it regularly.

New fluid will at least lubricate it and may give you a little more life than old fluid that is broken down and is no longer doing its job.
