I'm thinking of changing my shift **** at some point also. Keep me posted on what you decide.
One option is the momo aluair-r i dont have a picture but i'm sure you can find one online. Careful tho, it has to be the -r model....because of the reverse lockout on our maximas

This is one from an 06 SER SPEC-V. It has the same lock out and screws right on. The leather feels nicer than the Maxima shifter and it's not as cheap looking.

oh wow...that looks freakin nice! is that a stock se-r spec v shifter? or an aftermarket shifter FOR the spec v?

how much did it cost ya? i'm wondering if i could paint that gray area black...so it matches with the rest of the shifter console...and my interior is black, it would look nice!

Oh yeah, my Evo MR shift **** is weighted as well and its made by Momo. It shifts quicker cuz of the weight.

The leather is actually black. The flash made it look gray. The insert is a hard black plastic. I should have wiped it off before the picture. It also has some weight to it compared to the stock shifter.

I don't know if it was stock for the Spec-V or an upgrade. The older Spec-V cars had a horrible plastic shifter. I got it for free so I don't know how much it would cost. Dave B. would know the answer to both questions.

The stock shifter always felt plasticky and cheap to me. This one feels like a proper leather ****. I like cars to look more classic and simple. I don't like a lot of the flashy, overdone shift ***** that are popular now. A simple stitched leather ball would be fine with me.

I went ghetto I have a cue ball. I don't have a picture but it looks like a cue ball w/ a hole drilled in it. I like it cause its a lot bigger then stock and fits my hand better, it is also a good bit heavier.

If you have a digital camera then get the pics on your computer and use a site that hosts pics like http://imageshack.us/ . Click on the little insert image button just above where you type your message in a thread to insert the image using the url where it is hosted. It's really easy

Hey Derrick, I believe the 05+ sentra spec v and 05+ altima se-r both share the same shift *****...

http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchan...e=32865-L31SER

I went under the sentra page, but it didn't have any shift ***** that looked like yours...so I just wandered around and saw the same **** you have, but on the altima se-r page....pretty cool...it's $55 which isn't too bad..

anybody know if an STI shift **** would fit too? It looks like this...

Yeah, My buddy has an 06 STI and the shift **** looks like a direct fit with the lock out. I was thinking about how it would look in my Max when I was driving his car. That is, till I started getting on it. Then I pretty much forgot everything I ever knew for a while

LOL, yeah those cars are a beast to drive...I test drove one last year, absolutely amazing...and it was stock too!

Well, I have a feeling the STi **** might cost more than the $55 altima se-r one...if it does, I'll settle with the altima se-r one...cuz they look nearly identical...plus the altima one, you can order it with red stiches like the STi ****...for no extra cost...

i think that the stock one we have looks pretty nice, but if that isnt for you then that altima ser shift **** looks pretty awesome! it looks way better than the sentra one.
