97-99 Stillen Front Lip Install Questions

Hey what's goin on everybody, I've just got a simple question on installing the 97-99 Stillen front lip. I have it bought, under my bed, ready to fit before painting. My question to everyone who has done this, how did you fit it and install it. The problem that I ran into is that at the ends where it goes into the wheel well, it seems that I'll have to drill because it's mostly metal. I could be wrong, so any help will be appreciated to help me fit this baby the best that I can. Thanks in advance!

No you were right. Take off the wheels and drill into the metal that folds into the wheel well. Test fit the lip first so you'll know where exactly to drill.

That's what I thought I had to do. So did you just use the screws that came with the lip for the install? Also what did you do just go two screws to a side? This sounds dumb because I do absolutely no body work (yet), what kind of drill do I have to use? Just a normal drill meant for wood? Thanks for your help, hopefully I can do this thing soon, it's been a long enough wait as it is...

just use any drill bit, the metal is weak, and it is nto that hard to drill thorugh. justt use double side tape(after it is painted) and put on the front of the bumper where the lip meets, and on the side under the corners, where the lip meets the body.

then drill 2 holes on the sides of the fender where the lip meets and y ou are all done......i do not even take my wheels off, i just turn thm to one side and drilled, and put the screw in.

i just used self tapping screws and theres no need to take the front wheels off, just turn them to the side your not working on....Put a lot of 3M double sided tape on as well and that thing will be on like glue

I bought a cheap rivet kit and used that instead of screws.

F the tape, its not needed on a 97-99 lip. I have 3 screws in the bumper(lower grille opening) instead, along with the 2 in the fender. I need to take the lip off for winter and alignments and the tape is just a PITA. I use a skew driver to get to the screws.
