1999-2000 Mitsubishi Galant Spoiler?
I am thinking of getting a factory/oe style spoiler from a 1999-2000 Mitsubishi Galant...
comments.......good or bad I am asking because this is what this board is all about getting valued opinions on mods....

I think it would work. First you need to make sure it's wide enough. Second, you might have to do some work to legs. Shave them alittle to conform to the curve of the trunk. I think it would look really phat.

Yeah, like Tony said, you will have to shave the mounting points to fit. But be careful because if they remove too much material the spoiler is ruined. My thruster wing had to be modified in the same way and they barely got it to work. Also, I'm not sure if the wing is wide enough. The new Galant seems to have a narrower trunklid than our cars.

i dunno why no body's done a deck lid?
i think if you get a curved deck lid (aka bomex flat curve type) (similar to say the rod millen GS400 wing or the saleen mustang deck) that would look one -off and if you do it right. also square off the trunk so you can get more angular with the rear kit or subsequent styling of the car in the back.

well...
I won the auction on ebay for only $85.00 plus $18.00 s&h w/L.E.D....there website....www.spoiler.ws...sells them straight for $109.00...so it will be here next week and when I get it painted and mounted I will post so ya'll can see....OK...cool!!!!

to be honest... im glad someoens actually attempting this because I love the galant spoilers and thought about it, I hope it looks good.

It will def look phat
There was a post like last week with a white max entitled like titewhite rice 3 or sumtin to that effect and the guy with the white max had the galantish spoiler and it looked hott...i hate the two little connecters we have in the center..fugly

scroll down about six pics (half way down thread) and you will see the spoiler and unless i am mistaken its a galant spoiler on a white 4th gen...looks tight i think, hope this helps..post your pics when your done
