ok guys i have a 95 max i blew my oroginal motor and i just finished getting a 2001 vq put in it ha brand new injectors, the udp pulley, intake, and y pipe. now for

1. its giving me problems starting.
2. when i put the car under load heavy acceleration it hesitates between 2000 and 3500-4000 rpm and then it stops and picks up.
3.i have the original ecu

now i was wondering if this could be a fuel to air ratio problem that can be fixed by getting a VAFC or SAFC controller or just getting a 2001 ecu and putting it in. also the starting i know is prolly the crank sensor might be or really when i go to start it i feels like the engine is a bit flooded so yeah.

other than that the car idles smooth and when it does accelerate it hauls ***.....please let me know guys

1. camshaft position sensor

3. intake air temp sensor
4. crankshaft position sensor (reference)

If the cam position sensor was bad it wouldn't start, period. The CPS (REF) might be it.
