3.5 grounding kit is it worth it????? Please provide details on how to?

Hello every one I’m thinking of making a grounding kit for 3.5 maxima and I was wondering is it worth doing? For those who have it on 3.5’s did you guys noticed the difference? Please provide some details how to complete this project and that are the grounding points and what gauge wires did you purchase? Also what type of metal is the best? I heard that gold plated would be better? Not sure correct me if I’m wrong! Thanks!

i did not see any difference. i think that older engines may see better idle and startup. if the oem ground points become corroded, you will see smoother idle just by using a metal brush, and clening them. here is a link to a power point presentation somebody sent me. it's on my site, but props to the original .ppt creator:

Get the cheap ones off e-bay. I tried making my own but like the look of the ones off e-bay better. I did some research on the subject and based upon that I bought them. They seem to do what they say so I'm satisfied... and they look nice too....

The older your car the more difference you'll notice.

It will make more difference if your car is auto.

I felt nothing with my eBay kit, but after making my own I def felt the car was smoother and the tranny shifted smoother.

Actually I'm lucky, my VQ35 doesn't burn a drop. Old habits die hard, I keep that there more out of habit than anything. Some of my other whips used to burn oil so I kept a quart tucked away in the engine bay for the occasional top off. How funny that people notice things like that in pictures, I also look for stuff out of the ordinary in posted pics too.
