I have a 97 GLE and have only done 2 mods. They were the FSTB and clear corners. I got both of them on e-Bay. The FSTB was $40 shipped and the clear corners were $35 shipped. I love them both. The next thing I am going to get is a JWT intake. Stillen makes the best body kit for the Maxima but they are expensive so I won't be doing that any time soon. Another cheap mod is clearing out the tails. Check out www.maximadriver.com for How2's on how to do anything I mentioned above. Good luck!

Things to do first. FSTB(front strut tower brace) and RSB (rear strut bar). Next, you may want to lower the car, as Nissan has seen fit to give us 4X4s for no extra charger. The best body kit in most peoples minds is the Stillen body kit. As for engine things? Vavle body upgrades (automatics only), UDPS, and NOS are getting to be common.

Start with a FSTB and a RSB and clear corners. And clear out your tails too.

first

FIRST...go clear corners for front off of ebay

Second...front strut tower brace, streetbeatcustoms.com has them for 35 but they have HORRIBLE customer service and delivery methods, but if u are tight in the wallet it may be worth the wait..

THIRD...(by now u will be addicted to this site and modding)inake, jwt, stillen or even like a ractive intake..they all produce almost the same hp/noise...just differeces in prices and name

FOURTH...a.IF you are going for looks get the stillen front lip (170) or the whole kit...
b. If you are going for power get a y-pipe,
increas hp by 15-20...
FIfth...rsb,rims etc..etc

*change out the headlights/clearnce/cornering lights with hyperwhites...should be up higher up, between 2 and 3 for things to do

But, his reply isn't asking a question, more like acting like he knows a thing or 2. By which bumping this thread clearly does not demonstrate.

Dear Mark__mck15

This thread has come across my screen as one that is to painful to comprehend as to why you would reopen this thread. Yes it is maxima related (kinda) and yes it is related to the 4th gen discussion, But don't you think you could have kept this one to yourself? I think you owe us an apology, here is a format for the apology that you can disperse to all who are unlucky enough to come across this thread.

"Dear (enter member's name here)

I am writing to tell you how sorry i am for the loss of brain cells you have recently suffered at the hands of my thread, by being a dumb *** and reopening a 7 year old link, instead of just looking at the 4th gen stickies. Nevermind the fact that i have been a member of the .org for over a year, thats not what's important. The truth is I CANT READ!! I have been suffering from Imafreakinnoreadingdumbassshortbusdrivinginbreadit us for the better part of my life. And my answer to this aged thread of:

performance: 1] exhuast 2]intake 3]ported engine

looks: 1]clear corners 2]HID headlights{ebay!} 3]rims

thats a set nice ride already..just the skimmings though

Has got to be the dumbest thing you have ever read, and for that I am sorry.

The wait for it to load on your page, even with the high speed connection must have been hard on you. I vow to never let such a travisty happen to you again.

Please accept my deepest apologies for waisting your time.

Sincerly
Mark__mck15"

That should cover it.

Doesn't it?
I just had a driver improvement class this past weekend and those damn young bucks were making me feel really old. But it was semi - cool that the instructor, and everyone in attendance were astounded by my real age.
