Link isn't working, I think Warpspeed is under the RedLineMax name now. I have heard that they do not have good customer service...

I had no problem with Warpspeed when I ordered my Ypipe. Shipped pretty quickly too. I got the cheap aluminized one, great sound, great power. Love it.

Depends on where you live, if you get a lot of snow in the winter, get the stainless steel y-pipe that budget has. I live in California so no need for stainless steel here. I ended up getting a WSP aluminized y-pipe and I'm very happy with my decision...no BITC. They are $180 for orgers.

Installed a Warpspeed over the weekend.

Nice fitment, but on a 99 Cali-Spec, one of the 02 sensors ends up sitting against the oil pan. I don't expect it to be a problem, as the y-pipe should move with the motor (if it moves at all), but I still don't like it.

BTW, no bees in a can, and the car previously had a biudget that was nice also.

a couple people told me that cattman sells the best ypipes, and they did also mention that they were expensive, but hey, you gotta pay for good quality, right?

well many people can't justify paying up to 200 dollars more just for "quality". i myself am looking at y-pipes and until this thread have only been considering budget y-pipes. I always thought warpspeeds made the bees in the cans noise. I must have gotten them confused with someone else. It's cheaper to just buy a cheap y-pipe and replace the flex section with triple-ply flex.

I'm thinking my budget ss ypipe must be defective. It makes a horrible hissing noise since I had it put on. Most other people seem to be happy with theirs. Its not leaking as far as I can tell.

I've had the warpspeed aluminized pipe for almost 5yrs no problems, mine has never made the "bees in the can noise". I would suggest the SS model for northern areas, mine has no rust however I live in FL

I know WSP advertises that their y-pipes have an inner flex lining as well to eliminate the bees in a can.

What abt budget? Any idea?

go for stainless steel Y pipe, no matter if it's budjet or warpspeed.

check the for sale forums first! i bought a used cattman for $200 with installation on the forsale forums from brian v. have had it for four years in chicago snow and salt without any problems. the cattman does not make the 'bees in a can' sound, AFAIK neither does the warpspeed. old budget ypipes did, but i think it's resolved. budget also sells on ebay, i think under the name lyellstainless.

warpspeed's customer service is really lousy. you'll be lucky if you get your order in less than a month. hell, it takes them longer than that to answer an email. why are so many people in the aftermarket industry such damn terrible businessmen? i can forgive someone who is doing it part-time on the side like frankencar used to or like matt does, but warpspeed is a fulltime exhaust shop, WTF?
