97-99 Red CLear Tails from Custom Max

I have recently purchased the red/clears from custom Max....

Does anyone know which bulb sockets to use for these lights???

I have a 1995 SE and have the 97 trunk lid and now I am trying to install the red/clear tails but the light sockets don't match up from the stock. I checked the 97-99 stocks and they appear different too. CAN ANYONE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

If you're planning to do a 97-99 rear conversion, you'll need to get the wiring harness for the 97-99.

If they're the same as the stock 97-99 tails then yes.

Start by looking in junkyards for the part, they're virtually unavailable on the org.

Just unplug your current harness and plug in the new harness and you'll be good to go.

Are you talking about light harness or that plate that holds the bulbs? If your talking about the plate then yeah it's different. I just have mines dangling around in the housing. haha

Wiring is exactly the same. I've done it to both my 96 and 95 Maxima. Only the plate is different due to different shape and what not.

The 95-96 taillights are different from the 97-99. For the 95-96, the bulbs are mounted on a plate, and the 97-99, the bulbs are free floating and twist into the back of the taillight.

So how are they the same?

From here on it's pretty self explanitory, but if you have any questions, PM me.
